These past few weeks we have been bombarded with bad news. The news stations remind us every minute how many people have been infected with this virus and how many people die from this virus. Instead of listening to these reports that do not make us feel any better, letās take this time to change our focus and focus on time with our family.
We are in a constant hurry in our daily lives, and we rarely find the time to actually sit down with family and converse about our day. We should take advantage of these days that we canāt go to school and some of our family members canāt even go to work to enjoy each other’s company. Binge-watch a television series that the whole family can enjoy or play board games that can get everyoneās competitive side going. At the end of the day, it doesnāt matter what you are doing, it just matters that you are with your loved ones.
Even though these are not the best circumstances for anyone involved, we have to know that God is with us and that he will always protect us. With that being said, letās enjoy this time with our family and make many memories that will last a lifetime. Personally, I will be leaving for college in less than two years, and it sounds like a long time, but time goes by pretty fast. So, I want to enjoy every moment that I have with my parents and not let moments like these go to waste.
Donāt be by yourself all day in your room watching Netflix or TikTok, do these same activities with your family and let them enter your world. Letās take this time to build bridges between family members and get to know each other. Take this time to deepen your relationship with your family and most importantly take this time to deepen your relationship with God.
